Description

The Alnico 2 Pro Staggered RWRP for Stratocaster use the same hand ground alnico 2 rod magnets and heavy Formvar wire as our standard version, but is made reverse woundreverse polarity so that, when combined with the neck or bridge pickups, will produce that classic in-between Strat quack that is hum-canceling. On its own, it will give you the same warm, sweet Strat tone that you get from the standard wound model.Pair with our Alnico II Pro Staggered Strat.Like all of our vintage Fender style single coil pickups, we start with the proper color and thickness of Forbon flatwork. Along with the period correct magnet stagger, this pickup comes complete with waxed and tinned cloth pushback hook-up wires and traditional keyed bottom plate. We hand file the flatwork, assemble, and lacquer the bobbin just as it was done during Fenders Golden Age. Its wax potted for squeal free performance.
